Default Who Am I ?

Every morning as I quietly settle into my meditation, I throw the questions out to the universe.

Who am I
What do I want
What is my purpose

Rhetorical as this may sound – it is not.

Each day I watch for the answers, for the inspirations, for the people, places and things to drop in my lap that lead me on my path in life.

Who am i

As a youth my passion was the universal mysteries – why are we here, how does this universe work? When other young girls were reading Nancy Drew, I was reading Edgar Cayce and Seth Speaks.

At the age of 18, Richard Bach, in his book “Illusions – the Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah” introduced me to the Law of Attraction – the Universal Law that everyone is talking about today.

I never lost this passion for self knowledge, for self awareness. And if you think the universal mysteries are not about self – think again.

What do I want

I want knowledge on this interconnectedness that is us – that is our connection with self and each other. With this knowledge we will remember that we are all connected, that we are all part of a bigger picture, a bigger purpose – and any harm we cause each other we cause ourselves.

What is my purpose

My purpose is love. To teach others to find value in their lives, to find love in their lives. We all have a unique gift – unique only to ourselves that we can use to give back and make a difference in this world.

My gift is my ability to help others find purpose, value and love by looking within. If you are interested in finding out who you are – let’s talk.

Great post Cara.
Enlightened masters do recommend for meditation to be active. In other words they say to meditate with the question in mind.
And "Who am I?" is the ultimate question to be answered.
Perfect practice!

The way I look at it - the Universe knows far better than I do what I need and what I need to know.
If I try to tell myself who and what I am and label myself on what I can or cannot do I am only limiting myself.
Richard Bach wrote in his book Illusions - the Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah - "Argue Your Limitations and they are Yours"

And it's true - tell the Universe who you are and you are.

Ask the Universe who you are and the Universe opens up to you.
