Default low rise at 42

I'd like to ask the Forum how you feel about us women in our 40's wearing today's ultra low rise jeans. You have not choice but to wear a thong but you risk it showing above your jeans if you even move slightly. At what age does the low rise become distasteful if ever.

That's a great question. I resisted low rise for a long time and have finally given in because there are no other choices that don't look completely outdated now. I'm of the mindset that wear what you want at any age however there is always that one person who takes that concept to the extreme and makes you wonder, what are they thinking.

I discovered a new trick for the lowrise jeans. I've found that as I get older and my skin isn't as elastic, it slowly gushes over the top of my lowrisers and it doesn't go back in. I'm always pulling them back up. It came to me as I was making the bed with my 3 year old son, he was asking me why I shook the pillowcase to get the pillow in. I explained to him that the pillow goes in the pillow case easier that way. Now I use the same technique with my jeans. I pull them up while jumping up and down and all the skin bounces down into the jeans. It looks a little weird if you do it in the middle of the mall but other than that its a solid practice.

Wink

I love the pillow strategy for our low rise jeans lol!!!!! As for whether or not it is appropriate to be wearing a thong at 42 I think that whatever you wear you need to feel good in it. You need to be able to look in the mirror and say wow I look really good!!!!! That includes when you are wearing just your bra and panties. How many of you heard your mom's say "Make sure you are wearing clean underwear and socks, just incase you get in an accident and have to go to the hospital". I think we should be telling our children and ourselves, wear nice underwear that you feel good in, that make you feel pretty or sensual. When you get a new outfit with a perfect purse and shoes, don't forget to pick-up the matching bra and panty set too!!!

I just discovered nylons that come to your thigh, you know the tall socks that are supposed to be sexy, are not meant for women with any kind of extra padding on the thighs. not good.

Older men will appreciate it.

And older men are more desirable!
